Amu Nu Mix

The main reason the Amu Nu cookbook was created is for the 2 hour Middle Eastern mix that starts in 1969 and ends in 2024. The AMU NU mix covers funky joints from Turkey, Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Armenia and many other Middle Eastern regions. I’ve included several record walls of rare Middle Eastern records throughout the book for my collectors out there!

Amu Nu is a cookbook that has been simmering for over two decades!

Written by DJ Nu-Mark, he shares his best Persian recipes that he loves to cook and so much more. The foreword is written by illustrious restaurateur, Roy Choi.

You’ll also be treated to a travel guide for Middle Eastern food by some of his closest friends such as DJ Premier, Posdnuos of De La Soul and Russell Peters. The book also includes a limited edition vinyl flexi disc of Nu-Mark’s Middle Eastern production.

Not only does he share his favorite recipes, a good portion of the book is an autobiography of his life which eventually leads into his top 5 stories of his group, Jurassic 5.

For those who purchase a copy, you will find a QR code inside of the book that will link you to the reason Uncle Nu created Amu Nu in the first place; a 2-hour mix of Middle Eastern music that spans from 1969 to 2024.
